Bloom Street flowers were in my head long before I started making wedding bouquets! I have always loved flowers. My earliest memories are of flowers .... huge peonies, old fashioned cabbage roses, mimosa, stocks, lilac, gypsy grass........ the colours and perfumes were unforgettable. At number 45 Bloom Street, Liverpool, the home of my grandmother, there was always a huge vase of the most amazing flowers on the sideboard, whatever the time of year.

Today... I adore flowers just as much and have turned my 'hobby' into a business.... which means it's also great fun.....what a bonus! I specialise  in wedding flowers, nothing can beat the romance, the colours, the perfumes , the meanings of flowers..... and being able to enhance someone's special day with special flowers.

Meanwhile I have discovered the delights of artificial or faux flowers. How they have come on since the days of lurid plastic! Today it is possible to get fake flowers of the most beautiful, luxurious and realistic appearance, and when they are used in addition to fresh flowers they can be indistinguishable AND it is possible for the bride to save a considerable amount of money. I am on a mission to find the most perfect, 'real' fakes in the world..... meanwhile I have a small, but ever increasing, stock of very realistic, luxurious fake flowers and foliage available for hire.

Just now I'm working on an relaxed 'English country garden' wedding....small spray roses, sweet peas, larkspur, stocks, gypsophila....... one of my favourite themes. Photos to follow soon.

In fact hope to have a gallery of my work available asap.....watch this space ...

Meanwhile here are a few examples from my collection of faux flowers:

some real, some not.......
Greens and whites - lillies, roses,  ruscus, ivy, orchids
Country Garden...spray roses, sweet peas, agapanthus, eucalyptus

peach roses with soft ruscus
